1 Peter 4:10 - "As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace."
At MHFCU, we believe that we can make a positive difference in the lives of our members, and help foster a healthy community. We invest in those we serve in the form of time, energy, and resources.
Humanitarian Fund Campaign: For Associates, By Associates
Methodist Healthcare Foundation (MHF) and Methodist Healthcare Federal Credit Union have announced plans for MHFCU to become the first official sponsor of Humanitarian Fund Campaigns for the years 2015 through 2021. MHFCU has pledged $60,000 over those six years in support of the Foundation-led annual campaign.
"This gift to sponsor future Humanitarian Fund Campaigns, which benefit our more than 12,000 Associates, will enhance an already exceptional partnership," said Methodist Healthcare Foundation President Paula Jacobson. "This sponsorship truly highlights the MHFCU's generosity and commitment to MLH and our Associates."
"We have always supported the Foundation and our Associates. MLH is the 'single sponsor' of our credit union, unlike most credit unions with multiple companies participating," said Methodist Healthcare Federal Credit Union President Kristi Vick. "We are here to serve our Associate members and helping those in dire need is certainly compatible with our mission."
Since 1976, The Humanitarian Fund has provided support to MLH Associates facing a difficult time in their life, inluding fire and other property losses, death-related expenses, lost wages and health insurance premiums due to a lengthy illness. In 2013 alone, approximately 780 grants were made to MLH Associates through the Humanitarian Fund.

Camp Brave HeartsCamp Bravehearts
We are also proud to sponsor the annual Methodist Healthcare Camp Bravehearts Golf Tournament. Camp BraveHearts is a family grief camp hosted by Methodist Hospice. This camp is a safe place where feelings of grief can be expressed without having to worry about the reaction of others. Trained professionals and volunteers help kids and their families explore issues related to grief, walking beside them as they take the steps needed to heal. By sharing their grief with others, kids and adults begin to let go. For more information on registration or sponsoring a child, CLICK HERE.
